Broomhill is the place where Archie arrived from London at the start of it all - he still hasn't used the return ticket. There are plans to extend the volunteer-run Strathspey Steam Railway ( based at nearby Boat of Garten) through here and all the way to Grantown. I love steam trains, but this one - in this gorgeous valley - is a bit special. |
